Too often, tech and AI are framed as “what machines can do to us”. We prefer “what we can do with machines”.

Research backs this. According to the Bertelsmann Stiftung “Public AI” white paper, AI must be open, transparent and built for the public good - so that access, accountability and benefit are shared by all, not locked away.

Another white paper - ScienceSummit NYC’s “ProSocial AI and the UN Sustainable Development Goals” - argues that AI should amplify human agency, promote equity, and protect our planet.
